The formula of the Simple Present Tense are :


(+) Subject + V1s/es + Object

* adding (s/es), in a condition when the subject was third person singular (she, he, it)

Example :

  • Since the pandemic, I always wear a mask If I want to go some places.
  • Since the pandemic, she always wears a mask If she wants to go some places.

(-) Subject + do not/does not + V1 + Object

* using do when the subject are I, you, we, and they

* using does when the subject are she, he, and it


Example :

  • I do not wear a mask
  • She does not wear a mask

(?) Do/Does + Subject + V1 + Object ?

* using do when the subject are I, you, we, and they

* using does when the subject are she, he, and it

Example :

  • Does Rina wear a mask?
  • Do you eat the cake?
